The Analytic Account Liaison has a perpetually Client-facing role while also managing and leading projects in service of the Client. The Analytic Account Liaison is comfortable maintaining positive client relations and has accountability for ensuring work performed is accurate, timely and relevant to the client’s business needs. Additionally, they are responsible for helping grow the analytic business by expanding existing relationships and helping close new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Through collaboration with the broader team, construct analytic solutions (i.e. audience activation/list across channels, forecasting models) to solve client’s business problems, develop pricing/SOWs and push through to signature.
- Manage all aspects of client campaigns (i.e. traditional and digital), providing excellent client service while maximizing business opportunities.
- Work with the Analytics team to gauge campaign performance and KPIs to determine performance, then relaying actionable next steps to clients.
- Produce/oversee timely, accurate, and effective weekly client performance recommendations, reporting/analysis, and quarterly results analysis.
- Initiate, create, and develop client presentations and lead with confidence while listening to the client, including QBRs, RFPs and proposals.
- Manage multi-faceted teams, delegate work appropriately, and ensure the team remains challenged and inspired.
- Consistently seek opportunities to improve internal processes leading to higher efficiency.
- Become a trusted analytic expert for the Quad sales and marketing team.
- Articulate the business questions under consideration and how the analytic approach will address those questions.
- Understands the source, accuracy, and meaning of data elements included in analyses you are managing.
- With assistance, determine meaningful insights by applying the appropriate marketing metrics leveraging response reporting.
- Manage multiple channel projects from beginning to end.
- Ensure all necessary analytic internal processing is conducted properly (Workfront, Salesforce, etc.)
- Ensure timely billing of analytic projects.
- Keep management informed regularly of events/issues that could impact client relationship
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor degree in advertising, communication, marketing or related field preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of experience including retail marketing, corporate marketing and/or advertising agency.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Understanding of marketing strategy, creative, analytics, print production, media and digital.
- Knowledge of customer services, sales, project management, operations, account service/sales management
- Exceptional storytelling and writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive under pressure
- A creative mindset and ability to think outside of the box
- Proven skills or experience in sales can be helpful
- Time-management, organization and leadership skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- An analytical approach to problem solving
- Ability to understand and communicate complex concepts/business issues verbally and in writing to clients and management.
- Strong soft skills that allow you to provide exceptional, personalized customer service to high-level clients
- Highly detail-oriented and are perceptive about client needs and how to accomplish them
- Inspire a spirit of teamwork and cooperation within the Analytics team and cross other teams
- Set and prioritize goals and achieve them as scheduled
- Willingness to take direction from superiors and seek suggestions from peers.
- Ability to work with a team to think strategically and act tactically to align Quad's services with customer needs
- Demonstrate willingness to work together with peers and other Quad departments to improve quality and performance
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Outlook preferred
- Travel as required, temporary assignments (out-of-town).
Employees can be expected to be paid an annualized salary range of $78,000 - $117,000, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions.
