Digital Strategist

The Digital Strategist is responsible for placing, confirming and monitoring digital media orders to ensure the clients’ advertising program is executed flawlessly.
Key Responsabilites:
- Support internal clients in launching and maintaining campaigns on behalf of Quad media clients
- Assist in development of media strategy and recommendation and helping with elements of client presentations
- Communication of the roles of different digital channels within a Connections Strategy
- Proactively lead campaign build to ensure flawless execution of assigned media buys
- Management and confirmation of vendor media orders
- Primary focus on digital operations and quality assurance for all campaign launch/modifications
- Analyze and interpret data trends and develop improvement solutions; educate key stakeholders internally and externally on changes to process and reoccurring issues
- Monitor campaign performance through regular delivery reporting, ensuring buys are properly executed and troubleshoot issues that arise
- Collaborate with leadership and peers to develop solutions that will enhance our operational efficiency, tools, and systems, and improve current workflows
- Represent Rise to vendor reps to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles/tactics for plan consideration
Job Requirements:
- Understanding of digital media platform management tools. Experience with Google Marketing Platform, Google Ads, The Trade Desk and Facebook Business Manager
- Understanding of the importance of programmatic, paid social and paid search within the media plan
- Knowledge of the different ways digital media is bought
- Expertise in identifying and forecasting emerging trends in the digital marketing ecosystem
- Ability to convert and implement strategic plans into tactical executions
- Ability to work with a team to think strategically and act tactically in order to align Quad's services with customer needs
- Ability to pull/interpret data and provide campaign insights
Education: Bachelor's degree (communications, marketing, advertising or business)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in digital media planning, buying or execution
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Any certificates in Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Google Analytics, The Trade Desk Edge, Facebook Blueprint, Microsoft Ads and IAB Digital Media Planning & Buying a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal departments, external vendors, and all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical capabilities with aptitude for determining the optimal ways to setup, deliver, troubleshoot, and QA campaigns.
While this role is posted as remote, preference will be given to candidates based in the Chicago market, Minneapolis and Dallas.
