Merchandise Coordinator

Our photo studio in Coraopolis, PA is seeking a Merchandising Coordinator to add to our studio dedicated to producing quality photography exclusively for our largest sporting goods retail client. The Merchandising Coordinator will oversee the process for accepting, receiving, storing, tracking and returning customer/client merchandise.

Responsibilities:

  • Accepting and receiving merchandise using asset tracking software or spreadsheets
  • Barcoding, tracking and updating merchandise in the asset tracking system
  • Daily use of client’s proprietary shot and asset tracking software
  • Managing, storing and locating merchandise within the studio
  • Organizing merchandise for upcoming photo shoots
  • Building out and pairing outfits based on client decks 
  • Prepping, assembling and arranging merchandise for styling team 
  • Maintaining schedule for returning merchandise based on client standards
  • Drive daily to pick up and return client merchandise at nearby location with company vehicle 
  • Weekly pickups at retail location for merchandise with company vehicle 
  • Management and organization of client props
  • Merchandise status reports of upcoming and current projects to studio teams
  • Daily communication with client about project expectations and needs 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years industry experience in a high-end, high-volume, production and advertising photography, or commercial photography studio environment
  • Working knowledge of merchandise management systems
  • Ability to work as a team member in a creative group environment 
  • Approachable and willing to help problem solve with creative teams as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized with great attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Apple/Macintosh computer platform/software
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, with a high proficiency in Excel
  • Basic understanding of styling techniques, equipment and tools
  • Basic understanding of photography workflows and scheduling
  • Must be comfortable driving small company box truck, van and SUV
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
