The Senior Internet Marketing Consultant for our Analytics team is a data scientist who will focus on cross-channel analysis for current and prospective clients across all marketing channels, both online and offline, and conduct various statistical analyses. This individual must have strong analytical and technical skills, proficiency with Excel and/or data visualization tools, an understanding of data transformation concepts and techniques, intermediate statistical knowledge, and exhibit an overall sense of urgency and client focus through all activities.   

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate with clients and team members to understand client goals and identify opportunities for optimization of media 
  • Identify the required inputs for analyzing media data 
  • Manage data aggregation, transformation, and normalization necessary for analysis using Excel, Alteryx, and other ETL tools 
  • Create and manage data tables in data warehouses, write queries to transform data 
  • Perform measurement, analysis, and reporting of performance metrics 
  • Conduct statistical analyses  
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on cross-channel data analysis 
  • Develop and support process standardization, automated data validation, and error checks 
  • Create effective dashboards and data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders using data visualization tools   

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred 

Experience:  

  • Experience with database management 
  • Experience with various statistical analyses including linear regressions 
  • Experience with normalizing and transforming large data sets and analyzing the outputs created from them 
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel 
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Looker Studio 
  • Experience with measurement solutions including but not limited to MMM, Incrementality, MTA 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:   

  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills 
  • Intermediate statistics knowledge 
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python  
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, project management, and verbal and written communications skills 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks 
  • Ability to create client facing deliverables and tell a story with data 
  • Attention to detail a must
