Quad is currently seeking a Project/Facilities Engineer Intern for our Sussex, WI location to perform the following duties:  

• Participate as an active team member to plan, develop, and coordinate engineering activities for a variety of project types – including capital, maintenance, energy, renovation, and other improvement projects
• Develop, modify, and create documentation for current equipment within the Quad network 
• Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and timelines
• Build a basic knowledge of Lean methodology and apply it to given tasks 
• Assist in identifying energy & material waste and compose methods of avoidance 
• Compile scope of work documentation and attend contractor site visits 
• Apply a sense of urgency, commitment, and focus on the right priorities to ensure delivery targets are achieved 
• Travel between facilities when required

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Must be currently pursuing a degree in Engineering.
• Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills and be comfortable interacting with peers, management, internal customers, contractors, agencies, and organizations
• Must be self-motivated with strong team-building skills
• Must be able to adapt to a variety of roles as projects demand
• Computer skills:  Proficient in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
