Quad is seeking a part-time Security Officer for our Sussex, WI facility responsible for the Safety & Security of Quad employees, customers, vendors, visitors, and temporary workers.  The secondary objective is the protection of company assets by serving as a deterrent and prevention for theft. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Enforce policies and procedures of the company
• Greet visitors and customers, assign access badges as needed
• Patrol areas of the building or parking lot as needed
• Assist the receptionist or others as needed
• Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and standards
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours when needed
• Participate in continuing education opportunities as needed (internal and external)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Active, former or retired law enforcement personnel preferred 

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required if assigned to a vehicle patrol
• No Felony convictions
• Must be highly motivated and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to assess and evaluate critical situations quickly and effectively using the appropriate escalation of force level
• Follow standard operating procedures and post duties
• Physically able to perform the functions of the position which may include standing, sitting or walking for extended periods
• Must be able to meet and continue licensing and permiting requirements for armed security officers qualifying twice a year
• Must possess a concealed carry permit for the state employed or possess the HR-218
