Quad Sussex is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Utility Worker to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include furniture installation and general construction labor. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Furniture Installation: Assemble, install, and arrange furniture according to specifications and client requirements.
• General Construction Labor: Assist with various construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.
• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload furniture and construction materials from trucks and other vehicles.
• Site Maintenance: Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Tool and Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools, as well as other construction equipment, under supervision.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in furniture installation or construction labor is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Certification to operate platform and boom lifts.  Will provide training if necessary.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license required.
