General Purpose of Job
The Postal Optimization Strategist is a key role responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to reduce postal costs and increase profit margins. This position requires a strategic leader with a strong background in postal optimization, business development, and project management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing relationships with clients, manufacturing, sales, and scheduling, and will be skilled in motivating teams to achieve aggressive goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Postal Optimization Strategies: Create and execute strategies to optimize postal operations, including scheduling, pricing, and savings guarantees.
- Client Relationship Management: Manage relationships with clients, manufacturing, sales, and scheduling teams to ensure successful implementation of postal optimization solutions.
- Business Development: Identify and implement innovative solutions and programs to reduce postal costs and increase profit margins.
- Project Management: Partner with cross-functional teams in sales, manufacturing, and distribution environments to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Training: Share knowledge and provide input to clients and sales representatives on postal optimization solutions.
- Market Representation: Represent the company in the marketplace by presenting postal optimization solutions to clients and prospects.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience: 20 years of experience. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a strong background in postal optimization and a proven track record of success in business development and project management.

- Strategic Leadership: Ability to envision, execute, and deliver business solutions to improve profitability and margins.
- Postal Optimization: Comprehensive knowledge and experience in postal optimization strategies and solutions.

- Sales and Marketing: Strong background in sales and marketing, with the ability to support technical sales.
- Project Management: Proven experience in leading and managing projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Process Improvement: Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Relationship Building: Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Production & Distribution Planning: Experience in production scheduling and distribution planning.
