GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Quad is searching for a Robotic Process Automation Engineer. The RPA engineer I is a member of an agile team focused on the Construction and Support of RPA automation.  The RPA Engineer I will configure, code, unit test, and debug RPA automation.  The RPA Engineer I will provide professional, courteous, timely and dependable support to our 24/7 business.  Actively contribute on an agile team environment by participating in code reviews, design discussions, agile ceremonies, taking ownership of assigned tasks, delivering tangible results, and sharing after-hours support duties.  

Job Description

  • Collaborate with business teams to identify and analyze business processes suitable for automation.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement RPA solutions to optimize operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Maintain and support existing RPA bots to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation of automation solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and users during the implementation process.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to RPA workflows, technical solutions, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest RPA trends, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Some development and database experience 
  • Logical Thinker.  Able to quickly determine root cause of issues  
  • Able to breakdown business processes and identify areas that can be automated 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for learning new tools, platforms, and technologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in RPA development with tools like UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere.
  • Strong understanding of automation and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language
  • Familiarity with MS SQL and Oracle databases
  • Working knowledge of APIs and system integration.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and working within a fast-paced environment.
