SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Specialist, the Second Operator, will have basic operating skills of 1 or more types of equipment as well as direct a machine crew. This is a night shift position. 

12 hours shifts ( 7pm - 7am)

Work 3 days on and 4 days off the first week. 

Work 4 days on and 3 days off on the second week. 

Alternating every two weeks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Set up, adjust and operate printing and/or finishing machines
• Direct crew working on the machine.
• Consult with Specialist about scheduled production.  Plan the most efficient methods of completing work assignments.
• Understand mailing regulations.
• Assist in positioning and moving material for setups and printing and/or finishing operations.
• Notify Production Specialist of low inventory levels.
• Assist in the training of general laborers.
• Assist other shop personnel with various duties or rush orders in order to meet production schedules.
• Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
