Quad in Sussex is hosting a walk-in hiring event for skilled operators and highly motivatedself-starters! This event will take place on Wednesday, October 9th, from 9am-4pm

Join us as an Operator and step into a dynamic role where your manufacturing expertise meets cutting-edge technology. At Quad, we value your experience and offer a competitive starting wage, with the potential for $30-$36/hr. for those with print and operator experience hired directly into a First Press Operator role. For Second Press Operators, the wage ranges from $23-$29/hr. 

No print experience? No problem! Are you a go-getter? Are you looking to hit the ground running, learning the ins and outs of print? Do you want to stay and grow with Quad? We have an Operator in Training role with wages from $18-$23/hr! 

As an Operator, you'll play a crucial role by assisting with equipment setups, operations, and quality control. You'll be responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly according to customer specifications while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.

We offer a compressed work schedule, consisting of 3 to 4, 12-hour shifts per week (either 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.), including shifts on days, nights, weekends, and holidays. This schedule is designed to support work-life balance. Overtime opportunities are available and compensated after 40 hours per week. For those working nights permanently, we offer a $3/hr shift premium!

Strategically located in the center of our Midwest manufacturing network, the Sussex plant serves as a hub for product consolidation and distribution. Employees and their families enjoy access to onsite amenities such as a medical clinic, fitness center, and recreational activities like basketball courts and sand volleyball.

If you have 2-3 years of previous print operator experience, including setup and operation of press equipment, we encourage you to apply. Strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to troubleshoot equipment, and a commitment to quality are key qualifications we're looking for. You should be capable of lifting 10-15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and able to stand for long hours during your shift.
